How much can members earn and how do they get paid?
How much you can earn depends on how often you're able to book resevations. Actual referral amounts vary by the type of venue. Restaurants pay $1 per person and tours pay $2.50 per person for completed reservations. Payment is made on a monthly basis if your referral amount is over $25. If your amount is below $25, it will be adding the beginning balance of the following month. Payment is made for the previous month before the end of the current month. So you should receive your June check by the end of July.
How do venues confirm reservations?
Most venues use an auto confirm feature that confirms reservations smaller than a party size they specify. If the party size is larger than the specified amount, they are notified of the pending reservation via automated telephone call, text message, email, and their Reservations Screen. They need only click the OK button to confirm the reservation.
What happens if the guest does not use text messages or want to give their number out?
Guests do not have to disclose their mobile phone for text message confirmation, this feature is optional. However, some venues may need the information in order to contact the guest in case something changes or the guest is late. You may wish to enter your own mobile phone so that the venue may contact you regarding your guests. You may also use your Reservations screen to verify the reservation's status as confirmed.
What happens if I make a reservation after hours?
In most cases reservations are automatically confirmed, regardless of the hour. If the reservation is for a large party is may require manual confirmation by the venue. If the reservations is not automatically confirmed, you will be notified that it needs approval during the reservation process.
What happens if the guest does not show?
The venue has the ability to mark a reservation No Show. They can also adjust the party size if less people arrive. The site records and flags concierges that make a lot of reservations that do not show or reservations for party sizes larger than actually show in an effort to prevent mischievous use of the site for personal gain. If a concierge is deemed to be trying to cheat the system their membership will be temporarily suspended. If it occurs frequently, we may permanently stop the member from using the site.
What if the venue marks a guest No Show when they actually arrive?
We track and flag mischievous behavior on the part of venues as well. A natural rate of No Show is determined with respect to other venues. If they mark too many reservations as No Show, they will be flagged and monitored. If they are found to be cheating the system in any way, we may suspend their account.
Does the venue know the reservation is coming from me?
No, we currently do not notify the venue who is making the reservations, just the party name, size, time, mobil phone, and any special offers associated with the reservations.
Why are certain times not available.
Venues can pick the maximum number of guests on any particular day and time. Some may choose not to take reservations during peak traffic periods. All the reservations for that time may also be taken already.
